Sandefjord Fotball
Sandefjord Fotball, commonly known simply as Sandefjord, is a Norwegian professional football club, founded on 10 September 1998. The club currently competes in Eliteserien, the top tier of the Norwegian football league system. Their home ground is the Release Arena, located in Sandefjord, Vestfold. The club reached 1. divisjon in 1999, where they made quick progress and soon settled as strong competitors for promotion to the top division. Finishing third in 1. divisjon both in 2002 and 2003 they qualified for play-off matches, but lost both times. In 2004 they finished fourth. In 2005 season they placed second and earned automatic promotion to highest division. The club, in their first Tippeligaen season, finished ninth in the table and reached the cup final. In 2007 they finished last and were relegated to 1. divisjon. Sandefjord Arena
Release Arena (previously called Komplett Arena for sponsorship reasons and Sandefjord Arena) is the current stadium of Sandefjord Fotball. It was opened on 21 July 2007, when FK Lyn, Lyn visited Sandefjord, and is still the match with the highest attendance of 8,103. In 2007, the stadium was named after a club sponsor, the local e-commerce company Komplett. It was named Komplett.no Arena and later Komplett Arena until the company withdrew their naming sponsorship in November 2019. On 5 May 2021 the stadium was yet again renamed after local mobile phone retailer Release bought the rights. Tom Nordlie
Tom Nordlie (born 2 March 1962) is a Norwegian football coach. He has managed several top Norwegian football teams. Playing career Nordlie was not a footballer himself, but he did play for the national water polo team. He has his education from the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences. Managing career Nordlie is a household name in Norway, having managed several top-flight teams. He is known for introducing the concept ''kontrollert sinnsyk'', i.e. "controlledly insane". In 1998, he led Odd Grenland to promotion to the Norwegian top division, and to a respectable seventh place the next season. In 2000, he took over big club Vålerenga, but was fired after a season that led to Vålerenga's relegation from the Norwegian top division. Kristiansund BK
Kristiansund BK is a Norwegian football club located in Kristiansund that currently plays in Eliteserien. The team plays its home matches in the 4,444-capacity Kristiansund Stadion. Kristiansund BK was formed in the autumn of 2003, when two rival clubs of Kristiansund, Kristiansund FK and Clausenengen FK, agreed to establish a new elite team. Mjøndalen IF is a Norwegian sports club located in Mjøndalen, Viken, Norway. Of the different athletic endeavours that the club supports, it may be best known in Norway for its bandy national championship teams and internationally for its association football national championship teams that have competed in UEFA championships. Asker Fotball
Asker Fotball is the football department of Norwegian sports club Asker SK from Asker. The women's football team is one of the most successful clubs ever in Norway, with 6 top flight championships and 5 cup championships. Due to financial difficulties at the end of 2008, the team's licence to play in the Toppserien was revoked; the team members then joined Stabæk IF's football group, Stabæk Fotball, which set up a new women's team. NFF gave Asker's place in the Toppserien to Stabæk Fotball. Asker's second team became Asker's first team, playing in the 2. divisjon, and they now have a recruiting arrangement with Stabæk Fotball. Lars Bohinen
Lars Roar Bohinen (born 8 September 1969) is a Norwegian football manager and former professional footballer. As a player, he was a midfielder from 1986 until 2005, notably playing in the Premier League for Nottingham Forest, Blackburn Rovers and Derby County, as well as spells with Bærum SK, Lyn Oslo, Vålerenga, Viking, BSC Young Boys, Lillestrøm, Lyngby and Farum. Arne Sandstø (born 21 October 1966) is a Norwegian football manager and former player. Sandstø made seven appearances in Germany's 2. Bundesliga for Tennis Borussia Berlin during his playing career. Patrick Joseph Walker (born 20 December 1959) is an Irish former professional footballer. Playing career He played for Gillingham between 1977 and 1981, making 51 appearances in the Football League.
