The Bihar Legislative Assembly, also known as the Bihar Vidhan Sabha, is the lower house of the Bihar Legislature where the first elections were held in 1952. The total strength of membership in the Assembly was 331, including one nominated member. Dr.Shri Krishna Singh became the first Leader of the House and the first Chief Minister, Dr. Anugrah Narayan Singh was elected as the first Deputy Leader of the Assembly and became state's first Deputy Chief Minister. Jai Vardhan Yadav (alias Bachcha Yadav; born 27 July 1978) is an Indian politician. He was elected to the Bihar Legislative Assembly from Paliganj assembly. Yadav started his political career in 2005 from Raghopur assembly as a member of Indian National Congress party but lost.
