Sanchit Sharma
Sanchit Mohan Sharma (born 22 July 2001) is an Indian-born cricketer who plays for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. Personal life Sharma grew up in Ajman along with his sister Khushi Sharma, who made her debut for the UAE women's team in 2021. Their Indian father Brij Mohan Sharma moved to the UAE in 1990 to work as a mechanical engineer, later establishing a metal trading firm there. He played cricket at high levels in his home state of Haryana. Career In October 2021, he was named in the UAE's Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for the 2021 Summer T20 Bash tournament. He made his T20I debut on 7 October 2021, against Ireland. Before his T20I debut, he was named in the UAE's squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Sonipat, Haryana
Sonipat is a city, municipal corporation and administrative headquarter in Sonipat district of Haryana States and territories of India, state of India. It comes under the National Capital Region and is around from New Delhi. It is also around 214 km (128 miles) southwest of Chandigarh, the state capital. The 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off was the inaugural edition of the Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off, a cricket tournament which formed part of the 2023 Cricket World Cup qualification process. It took place in March and April 2023, with all matches having One Day International (ODI) status, regardless of whether or not a team had ODI status prior to the start of the event. As a result, Jersey played their first ever matches with ODI status. Six teams qualified for the tournament: the bottom four teams from the 2019–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 along with the top teams in Groups A and B of the 2019–2022 ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League. A One Day International (ODI) is a form of limited overs cricket, played between two teams with international status, in which each team faces a fixed number of overs, currently 50, with the game lasting up to 9 hours. The Cricket World Cup, generally held every four years, is played in this format. One Day International matches are also called Limited Overs Internationals (LOI), although this generic term may also refer to Twenty20 International matches. The 2020 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was an international limited-overs cricket tournament that was held in South Africa from 17 January to 9 February 2020. It was the thirteenth edition of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, and the second to be held in South Africa. Sixteen teams took part in the tournament, split into four groups of four. Bowling, in cricket, is the action of propelling the ball toward the wicket defended by a batter. A player skilled at bowling is called a ''bowler''; a bowler who is also a competent batter is known as an all-rounder.
