Foros ( uk, Форос; russian: Форо́с, crh, Foros, el, Phàros, Φάρος) is a resort town (an urban-type settlement, legally) in Yalta Municipality of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, a territory recognized by a majority of countries as part of Ukraine and incorporated by Russia as the Republic of Crimea. In February and March 2014, Russia invaded and subsequently annexed the Crimean Peninsula from Ukraine.
