Sanath Mohan Silva Kaluperuma (born 22 October 1961) is a former Sri Lankan cricketer who played in four Tests and two ODIs from 1984 to 1988. Sanath Kumar (born 12 December 1962) is a former Indian first-class cricketer and the former head coach of Assam, Karnataka and Baroda. Kumar played for Karnataka cricket team from 1985/86 to 1988/89. Career Kumar was a right-arm medium pace bowler who represented Karnataka cricket team in 11 first-class and 4 List A matches between the 1985/86 and 1988/89 seasons. Professor Sanath Lamabathusooriya, MBE is a Sri Lankan academic and paediatrician. An Emeritus Professor of Paediatrics, he was the former Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo and one of the foremost paediatricians in Sri Lanka.
