''Sanak'' () is a 2021 Indian Hindi language action thriller film directed by Kanishk Varma and produced by Zee Studios and Sunshine Pictures. It stars Vidyut Jammwal, Rukmini Maitra, Neha Dhupia and Chandan Roy Sanyal. Principal photography began in January 2021. The film was released digitally on 15 October 2021 on Disney+ Hotstar. Plot Vivaan Ahuja, a skilled MMA trainer, learns that his wife Anshika Maitra's heart can stop at any time and an operation is required. The operation is successful. As she recovers in the hospital, a terrorist group led by Saju Solanki attack the hospital to retrieve their illegal arms dealer and leader Ajay Pal Singh, who was actually responsible for the deaths of 18 Indian Army soldiers due to his supply of faulty weapons and was moved to the hospital for emergency surgery after his pacemaker was tampered with in prison. Vidyut Jammwal
Vidyut Dev Singh Jammwal (born 10 December 1980) is an Indian actor, martial artist and film producer who predominantly works in Hindi films. He is also a practitioner of Kalaripayattu. He is best known for his roles in Commando film series, and is recipient of several awards including one Filmfare Award. He made his Telugu debut with ''Sakthi'', Hindi with ''Force'' and Tamil debut with '' Billa II'', all in negative roles. His first lead role was in the successful film ''Commando''. Vipul Amrutlal Shah
Vipul Amrutlal Shah (commonly known as Vipul Shah) is a film producer and director of Hindi films. He began his career with Gujarati theater. He was part/director of a number of Gujarati dramas, some of which were well received by Gujarati audience. Chandan Roy Sanyal (born 30 January 1980) is an Indian actor who is known for his work in the Hindi and Bengali language films of India. After graduating with a degree in mathematics, he made his acting debut in the 2006 film ''Rang de Basanti'', in a minor role.
