''Sanah śpiewa poezyje'' (English: Sanah sings poems) is the fourth studio album by Polish singer Sanah. It was released by Magic Records and Universal Music Polska on 25 November 2022. ''Sanah śpiewa poezyje'' is a combination of indie pop and sung poetry. The album was produced by Marek Dziedzic, Arkadiusz Kopera, Thomas Martin Leithead-Docherty (Tom Martin) and Jakub Galiński. It peaked at number one on the Polish albums chart and has been certified platinum by the Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry (ZPAV) on 30 November 2022. On 13 October 2022, she released ten more singles, each modeled on poems by Polish national bards, including Adam Mickiewicz, Wisława Szymborska and Adam Asnyk. Zuzanna Irena Grabowska (''née'' Jurczak; born 2 September 1997), known professionally as sanah (stylised in all lowercase), is a Polish singer, songwriter, violinist, and composer, performing indie pop and art pop. She received nationwide popularity in 2020, with the release of her single " Szampan", which became a number one hit in Poland. She later released her debut studio album ''Królowa dram'' (2020), which peaked at number one in Poland. The stage name "sanah" was created by shortening the English version of the singer's first name, Susannah. She previously performed under the pseudonym "Ayreen", which was derived from her middle name. Early life and education Jurczak was born in Warsaw. She has six siblings. Leszek Józef Serafinowicz (pen name: Jan Lechoń; 13 March 1899 in Warsaw, Congress Poland, Russian Empire – 8 June 1956 in New York City) was a Polish poet, literary and theater critic, diplomat, and co-founder of the Skamander literary movement and the Polish Institute of Arts and Sciences of America. Life Lechoń studied the Polish language and literature at the University of Warsaw, by which point he had already authored two collections of poetry and a play. He was co-editor of ''Pro arte et studio'' magazine. Lechoń created the name ''Skamander'' for that literary group and delivered the opening speech at the group's first meeting on 6 December 1919. During the Polish–Soviet War (1919–21), he worked in the press office of Chief of State Józef Piłsudski. Krzysztof Kamil Baczyński, (; nom de guerre: Jan Bugaj; 22 January 1921 – 4 August 1944) was a Polish poet and Home Army soldier, one of the most well known of the Generation of Columbuses, the young generation of Polish poets, of whom several perished in the Warsaw Uprising and during the German occupation of Poland. Biography Baczyński was born in Warsaw into the family of renowned literary critic and soldier of the Polish Legions in World War I, Stanisław Baczyński and school teacher Stefania Zieleńczyk. His mother was a zealous Catholic but with Jewish roots, and as such was treated by the Germans as Jewish. His uncle, Dr. Adam Zieleńczyk, escaped from the Warsaw Ghetto and was killed by Germans in 1943. Baczynski was baptized on 7 September 1922 in Warsaw.
