The Church of Saint Roch ( it, Chiesa di San Rocco) is a Renaissance-style Roman Catholic church dedicated to Saint Roch in None, Region of Piedmont, Italy. A church at the site was initially documented by 1522, but occupied by 1589 by the ''Company of the Disciplinati'', also known as the ''Batù di San Rocco''. In the past, this was a flagellant confraternity, but over the centuries it was less rigorous, and included both men and women. During processions at different festivals, the men are dressed in white, and the women, in yellow. The feast ending Pentecost was dedicated to Saint Roch. The facade was erected in 1710. The bell-tower with clocks was built in 1739. Roch (lived c. 1348 – 15/16 August 1376/79 (traditionally c. 1295 – 16 August 1327, also called Rock in English, is a Catholic saint, a confessor whose death is commemorated on 16 August and 9 September in Italy; he is especially invoked against the plague. He has the designation of Rollox in Glasgow, Scotland, said to be a corruption of Roch's Loch, which referred to a small loch once near a chapel dedicated to Roch in 1506. Santi Gervasio e Protasio is the Roman Catholic parish church in None, Piedmont, None, region of Piedmont, Italy. A church at the site had been established by the feudal lord of the town, the Count of Piossasco, whose castle was adjacent to the church. It was used by the counts as a family burial church.
