San Pedro Chapel
The San Pedro Chapel is a historic chapel that was built in 1932 at 5230 E. Ft. Lowell Rd. in Tucson, Arizona. It replaced a chapel built in 1915 that was destroyed by a tornado in 1929. The San Pedro Chapel was built over the ruins of the destroyed chapel and dedicated in 1932. Both chapels were constructed by the El Fuerte community. Tornado
A tornado is a violently rotating column of air that is in contact with both the surface of the Earth and a cumulonimbus cloud or, in rare cases, the base of a cumulus cloud. The National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) is the United States federal government's official list of districts, sites, buildings, structures and objects deemed worthy of preservation for their historical significance or "great artistic value".
