San Justo Department is a department of Córdoba Province in Argentina. The provincial subdivision has a population of about 190,182 inhabitants in an area of 13,677 km², and its capital city is San Francisco, which is located around 670 km from Buenos Aires. Quebracho Herrado, Córdoba
Quebracho Herrado is a small community in San Justo Department of Córdoba Province, Argentina. It was the location of the famous Battle of Quebracho Herrado in 1840 during the civil wars. Miramar, Córdoba
Miramar is a town in San Justo Department, located in Córdoba Province (Argentina). Overview Established on November 18, 1924, with the inauguration by Victorio Rosso of the Hotel Miramar, a health resort, Miramar was the site of a number of mineral spas from its early days, and in 1933, a jitney service was started between the town and the provincial capital, Córdoba. The relocation to Miramar of Máximo Palkhe, a businessman from Avellaneda (a suburb of Buenos Aires), in 1936, was followed by his decision to have a luxury hotel built on the shores of Mar Chiquita, a saline lake, in 1940. The decision led to the development of other tourist facilities in the hamlet, and Palkhe's Gran Hotel Vienna (named for his wife's birthplace), was inaugurated in 1945. Brinkmann, Córdoba
Brinkmann is a town located in the San Justo Department in the Province of Córdoba in central Argentina. It is from the city of Córdoba; north of San Francisco, very close to Mar Chiquita Lake and the border with the province. Provincial Route 1 connects Brinkmann with the rest of the Córdoba road network and continues north after passing through the Santa Fe Province under Provincial Route 23. Arroyito, Córdoba
Arroyito () is a city in Córdoba Province, Argentina. It is located east of Córdoba, on both sides of National Route 19. Arroyito earned the nickname Sweet City (''Ciudad Dulce''). Etymology Arroyito can be translated as "little stream", or "little brook". It was named after a stream (now disappeared) that crossed this settlement and landed on the Xanaes river. The first records referred to this settlement as ''paraje del Arroyito'' or ''El Arroyito''. History Early settlement It is not clear when Arroyito was founded.
