San Juan Jabloteh
San Juan Jabloteh Football Club is a football club located in San Juan, Trinidad and Tobago that plays in the country's TT Pro League. The team plays its home games in Hasely Crawford Stadium in Mucurapo, Trinidad. History The club was founded in 1974, with the stated objective to "uplift the socio-economic and moral condition of the young people of San Juan and its environs." Upon the creation, by the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association, of a Semi-Professional League in 1994, San Juan Jabloteh converted itself from a youth organization into a professional football club. With the backing of CL Financial in 1996, the club significantly expanded its operations. From 1997 to 1999, the team finished fourth in the Semi-Professional League in three consecutive years. Hasely Crawford Stadium
The Hasely Crawford Stadium, formerly the National Stadium, is located in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. It was inaugurated and formally opened by Prime Minister George Chambers on 12 June 1982. On 30 December 1996, Prime Minister Basdeo Panday officially designated it "The Hasely Crawford Stadium", after the first person from Trinidad and Tobago to win an Olympic gold medal. History The stadium, which is sometimes used by the Trinidad and Tobago national football team, hosted the final of the 2001 FIFA U-17 World Championship. It also hosted games at the 2010 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup. Currently the stadium has a capacity of 22,575 with the installation of individual seats. CL Financial
CL Financial was the largest privately held conglomerate in Trinidad and Tobago and one of the largest privately held corporations in the entire Caribbean, before the company encountered a major liquidity crisis and subsequent bailout in 2009. Founded as an insurance company, Colonial Life Insurance Company (CLICO) by Cyril Duprey, it was expanded into a diversified company by his nephew Lawrence Duprey. CL Financial then became one of the largest local conglomerates in the region, encompassing over 65 companies in 32 countries worldwide with total assets exceeding TT$100 billion. 2009 TT Pro League
The 2009 TT Pro League season (known as the ''Digicel Pro League'' for sponsorship reasons) was the eleventh season of the TT Pro League, the Trinidad and Tobago professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1999. A total of eleven teams contested the league, with San Juan Jabloteh the defending champions. The season began on 8 May, with ''Super Friday'', and ended on 27 October. The format of the season was changed from each club playing three rounds to two rounds in the regular season to facilitate the national team with its attempt to qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Police were re-admitted into the league following a one-year absence, whereas FC South End were admitted as a new club. The 2009 CFU Club Championship was the 11th edition of the CFU Club Championship, the annual international club football competition in the Caribbean region, held amongst clubs whose football associations are affiliated with the Caribbean Football Union (CFU). The top three teams in the tournament – W Connection, Puerto Rico Islanders, and San Juan Jabloteh – qualified for the 2009–10 CONCACAF Champions League. CFU Club Championship 2006
The 2006 CFU Club Championship is the annual international football club competition held in the Caribbean Football Union/CFU region (Caribbean). The Caribbean Tournament Champion will qualify to the 2007 CONCACAF Champions Cup. The CFU changed the home-away format for this tournament to four group stages at Caribbean sites. Fourteen teams will compete for the Caribbean berth to the CONCACAF Champions' Cup. The first round of the 2006 Caribbean Football Union Tournament consisted of two groups of four teams along with two triangulars which took place between November 30 and December 14, 2006. 2003 CFU Club Championship
The 2003 Caribbean Football Union Club Championship was an international club football competition held in the Caribbean to determine the region's qualifier to the CONCACAF Champions' Cup. Seven teams from four football associations played in the 2003 edition, contested on a two-legged basis. A Round of 16 and a preliminary round were scheduled but never played due to 11 teams withdrawing from the competition. 2008 TT Pro League
The 2008 TT Pro League was the tenth season of the TT Pro League, the Trinidad and Tobago professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1999. A total of ten teams took part in the league, with San Juan Jabloteh the defending champions. The season began on 5 April and ended on 29 November, with the conclusion of the Lucozade Sport Big Six. Ma Pau were admitted as a new club into the league and would be based in Woodbrook. After one season upon their return to the Pro League, Police withdrew with the intention of returning for the 2009 season. The Superstar Rangers decided to change the name of the club to '' St. Ann's Rangers'' to increase community awareness. Terry Fenwick
Terence William Fenwick (born 17 November 1959) is an English football manager and former player who played either as a centre-back or a full-back. During his playing career, he made a total of 455 appearances in the Football League for Crystal Palace, Queens Park Rangers, Tottenham Hotspur, Leicester City and Swindon Town. Fenwick made twenty appearances for the England national football team from 1984 to 1988, and represented the country at the 1986 FIFA World Cup. Fenwick began his managerial career in the mid-1990s with Portsmouth, from 1995 to 1998. He later had executive and managerial stints at Southall, Ashford Town and Northampton Town. Steve Rutter (footballer, Born 1962)
Stephen L. "Steve" Rutter (born 14 October 1962) is an English former football player and current assistant manager at GSL club Panetolikos. Playing career Early career at Wealdstone Rutter was born in Northampton in 1962, and after leaving school, he spent seven years working for the police force. Rutter came to semi-professional football relatively late joining Wealdstone and was part of the side who won the Alliance Premier League and FA Trophy double in 1985. Yeovil Town Rutter followed his former Wealdstone manager Brian Hall to Isthmian League side Yeovil Town in January 1987, and made 12 appearances in the second half of the season.
