San Francisco Del Monte
San Francisco del Monte, also referred to as SFDM, is a district of Quezon City, Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is bisected by two major thoroughfares, Fernando Poe Jr. Avenue and the eponymous Del Monte Avenue, and is bounded by Atty. Pat Senador Sr. Street and Baler Street to the north, and Judge Juan Luna Street, Paraiso Street, and Cooper Street to the east. The district encompasses the barangays of Del Monte, Damayan, Mariblo, and Paraiso, and its water borders are defined by the San Juan River to the west and the Mariblo Creek to the south. History San Francisco del Monte may be considered as Quezon City's oldest district. It was founded as a pueblo by then-Franciscan missionary Fray Pedro Bautista on February 17, 1590, who named it after St. Francis of Assisi, founder of the Franciscan Order. Timog Avenue
Timog Avenue is a major road located in Quezon City within the Diliman area of northeastern Metro Manila, Philippines. It runs east–west through the southern edge of the barangay of South Triangle and is used to be named in English as South Avenue. The street is located in Quezon City's entertainment area, known for its trendy restaurants, bars and karaoke and comedy clubs. It is also home to the GMA Network Center studios located on the avenue's junction with Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA). The entire avenue is designated as National Route 172 (N172) of the Philippine highway network. Fisher Mall
The Fisher Mall is a mall in Quezon City that opened on January 29, 2014. The location of the mall was formerly occupied by the Pantranco bus terminal. One of the anchors of the mall, Fisher Supermarket, primarily sells fish supplied by Irma Fishing Inc. Etymology The Fisher Mall's name is a homage to Mallers Management Corporation President Ray del Rosario's ancestors who initiated Irma Fishing fishing business based in Malabon. Planned expansions and changes Mallers Investment Corporation planned to build a 15-storey hotel or a mall annex in 2015–2016. If the hotel component pushed through, it would have been branded under Fisher Mall and have had approximately 110 rooms catering to the mid-range segment, and would've been located beside the mall itself.
