The province of Bologna ( it, provincia di Bologna) was a province in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. Its provincial capital was the city of Bologna. Monterenzio ( Medial Mountain Bolognese: ) is a town and ''comune'' in the Metropolitan City of Bologna (Emilia-Romagna, Italy). Geography The territory of the municipality rises on the ridge between the valleys of the Idice and Sillaro streams. The eleven rural units that make up the territory date back to the Pre-Napoleonic era.
