Samuel Robinson, Jr. (August 15, 1738 – May 3, 1813) was an early Vermont political and military leader who served an officer in the American Revolution and as Speaker of the Vermont House of Representatives. Biography Samuel Robinson was born in Hardwick, Massachusetts, on August 15, 1738. He was the son of Samuel Robinson, Sr. (1707–1767), one of Vermont's earliest white settlers. Samuel Robinson's brothers included Moses Robinson, David Robinson, and Jonathan Robinson. At the age of 17 he served in his father's company of militia during the French and Indian War. The younger Robinson succeeded his father as one of Bennington's agents who attempted to resolve the dispute between New York and New Hampshire over control of colonial Vermont. During the American Revolution Robinson was active in the militia, commanding a company at the Battle of Bennington and rising to the rank of colonel. Boca Chica is an area on the eastern portion of a subdelta peninsula of Cameron County, at the far south of the US State of Texas along the Gulf Coast. Admiral Samuel Murray Robinson (August 13, 1882 – November 11, 1972) was a United States Navy four-star admiral who directed Navy procurement during World War II. Early career Born in Eulogy, Texas, Robinson attended primary school in Walnut Springs, Texas, high school in Dublin, Texas, and college at Fort Worth University before entering the U.S. Naval Academy in 1899. Graduating in 1903, he saw service in the Asiatic Station before making a cruise from Honolulu, Hawaii to Panama aboard the ''Paul Jones'', the first long voyage undertaken by a destroyer. From 1907 to 1909, he circumnavigated the globe with the Great White Fleet aboard the battleship ''Vermont''.
