''Same Thing Different Day'' is the second studio album by American rapper Trae. It was released on July 6, 2004, by Trae's independently-owned record label, called G-Maab Entertainment. The album was re-packaged into four discs with the first disc being the original release of the album, but also includes tracks in the first-half from its album's original release onto the second disc and each tracks in the second-half from its album's original release onto the third disc being chopped and screwed; as well as the fourth disc being a DVD. Frazier Othel Thompson III (born July 3, 1980), better known by his stage name Trae tha Truth (or simply Trae), is an American rapper and record executive from Houston, Texas. Embarking on a musical career in 1998, he soon established himself as a prominent member of the Texas hip hop scene with his solo debut, ''Losing Composure'' (2003). '' Same Thing Different Day'' (2004) and '' Restless'' (2006) followed up, the latter of which was his debut on Rap-a-Lot Records. Bernard James Freeman (born March 19, 1973), known professionally as Bun B, is an American rapper. He is best known as one half of the southern rap duo UGK (UnderGround Kingz), a group he formed in 1987 alongside Pimp C. Aside from his work with UGK, Bun B has released five solo albums, including 2010's ''Trill OG'', which received the rare 5-mic rating from ''The Source''.
