Samar Jai Singh (born 26 September 1966) is an Indian film actor and acting trainer. He graduated from Government Law College, but started in Indian film and television industry in 1992. Samar is an acting coach as one of the founders and directors oKreating Charaktersacting school, since 2005, in Mumbai. He became famous as Lord Shiva in the TV series '' Om Namah Shivay'', in 1997. Career As an actor, he has worked in wide range of films froFilm and Television Institute of India – FTII in Pune, tNational Film Development Corporation Limited - NFDC in Mumbai. Gul Bahar Singh is a six time national award winning Indian film-maker. He received first national award in 1986 for his documentary film, ''Anukaran''. Early life Singh was born in Pakur, Jharkhand in a Sikh family and he is the youngest child of his parents. ''Samrat Prithviraj'' is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language historical action drama film directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Yash Raj Films. The film is based on '' Prithviraj Raso'', a Braj language epic poem about the life of Prithviraj Chauhan, a Rajput king from the Chahamana dynasty.
