Samantha Seager (born 13 July 1974) is a British actress born in Wigan, Greater Manchester, England, who played the role of Jodie Morton in the soap opera ''Coronation Street''. Since leaving ''Coronation Street'', Seager worked in television and theatre. She appeared in an episode of ''Little Britain'' where she was a background character . Career She played Cathy Rigby in one episode of ''The Bill'' (series 12, episode 149). She was in a one-off episode of the BBCs '' Waterloo Road'' in 2010, as Joeley Vale. She has played the role of Bobby the Bus Cleaner on the programme on CBeebies, '' Me Too!''. She played Dawn in ''Invincible'' by Torben Betts in 2014, at Richmond's Orange Tree Theatre, which then transferred to the St James Theatre, London. Seager has two children, Johnny and Willow. Wigan
Wigan ( ) is a large town in Greater Manchester, England, on the River Douglas, Lancashire, River Douglas. The town is midway between the two cities of Manchester, to the south-east, and Liverpool, to the south-west. Bolton lies to the north-east and Warrington to the south. Torben Betts
Torben Betts (born 10 February 1968, in Stamford, Lincolnshire) is an English playwright, screenwriter and actor. Betts attended the University of Liverpool, where he read English Literature and English Language, and originally trained to become an actor but later changed course to begin writing plays. Betts stated that part of the reason for this transition was the difficulty he faced as an actor without an agent and that playwriting allowed him to "exercise all my instincts as an actor without actually having to live the life". In 1999 Alan Ayckbourn invited him to be the resident dramatist at Scarborough's Stephen Joseph Theatre. St James Theatre, London
The Other Palace is a theatre in London's Off West End which opened on 18 September 2012 as the St. James Theatre. It features a 312-seat main theatre and a 120-seat studio theatre. It was built on the site of the former Westminster Theatre, which was damaged by a fire in 2002 and subsequently demolished. Orange Tree Theatre
The Orange Tree Theatre is a 180-seat theatre at 1 Clarence Street, Richmond in south-west London, which was built specifically as a theatre in the round. It is housed within a disused 1867 primary school, built in Victorian Gothic style. The theatre was founded in 1971 by its previous artistic director, Sam Walters, and his actress wife Auriol Smith in a small room above the Orange Tree pub opposite the present building, which opened in 1991. Walters, the UK's longest-serving theatre director, retired from the Orange Tree Theatre in June 2014 and was succeeded as artistic director by the present incumbent, Paul Miller, previously associate director at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield. Lancashire
