Samanda
Amanda Louise Marchant and Samantha Joanne Marchant (born 28 June 1988), better known as Samanda, are a female duo, consisting of identical twin sisters who first came to fame on '' Big Brother'' in 2007, in which they jointly achieved second place. They released their cover of Aqua's hit song "Barbie Girl" on 8 October 2007 and it entered the UK Singles Chart at number 26. Their second single titled " Honey Love" entered the chart on 22 August 2008 at number 125. This song was a cover of Donny Osmond's Number One UK Hit "Puppy Love" and was a tie-in with Sugar Puffs cereal (as their mascot is the Honey Monster, who also appeared in the video). As of 2019 they are both married and have one child each (both a few months apart and girls). ''Big Brother 2007'', also known as ''Big Brother 8'', was the eighth series of the British reality television series '' Big Brother''. ''Big Brother'' is the British version of the international reality television franchise '' Big Brother'' created by producer John de Mol in 1997. Broadcast yearly from 2000 to 2018, and due to return in 2023, the show follows the format of other national editions, in which a group of contestants, known as "housemates", live together in a specially constructed house that is isolated from the outside world. They are continuously monitored by live television cameras and personal audio microphones. Throughout the competition, housemates are "evicted" from the house by public televoting. Honey Monster Puffs are a honey-flavoured breakfast cereal made from sugar-coated wheat sold in the United Kingdom. The cereal was originally sold as Sugar Puffs, but was re-branded in 2014. It was labeled as Honey Monster Sugar Puffs for a time. The cereal is known for its Honey Monster mascot, a large, hairy, yellow creature introduced in 1976. In the U.S., a similar cereal is Honey Smacks. History Sugar Puffs were first launched in 1957, with Jeremy the Bear. They were invented by William Halliday Davies (1919–2009), production manager at the Quaker Oats mill in Southall. For many years they were made by the Quaker Oats Company, but in 2006 they were sold to Big Bear t/a Honey Monster Foods, based in Leicester. Hunter Benedict Shepherd (born September 20, 1968) is an American musician, best known as the bassist of the rock band Soundgarden from 1990 to 2019. Shepherd has won two Grammy Awards as a member of Soundgarden. Early life Shepherd was born in an American military base in Okinawa. His father worked in the Nike missile program and played the guitar. His family moved to Allen, Texas, then settled in Kingston, Washington, where Shepherd grew up.
