Samadhi Arunachaya Moragolla ( née Abegunaratna; si, සමාධි අරුණචායා; 25 November 1990) better known as ''Malee'' following the success of the tele drama in the same title, is a Sri Lankan actress who came to the limelight after being crowned as 2010 Avurudu Kumari competition conducted by Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation. She began her career with her debut tele ''Saveena'', which was aired on Derana TV, but she is best known for her later tele ''Malee'' Directed by Nimal Ratnayaka and produced by Janaka Siriwardana which was also aired on Derana TV. Tissamaharama
Tissamaharama ( si, තිස්සමහාරාමය , ta, திஸ்ஸமஹாராம) is a town in Hambantota District, Southern Province, Sri Lanka. History It was the capital of the Sinhalese Kingdom of Ruhuna as early as the 3rd century B.C. Few buildings from that period survived. The presence of early Tamils in Tissamaharama was confirmed following archaeological excavations in 2010. The Tissamaharama Tamil Brahmi inscription, a fragment of black and red ware flat dish inscribed in Tamil in the Tamil Brahmi script was excavated at the earliest layer in the town. The large, artificial Tissa Wewa lake, which was a part of an irrigation system, dates from that time. The five main nearby lakes are Tissa Wewa; Yoda Wewa; Weerawila Wewa; Pannegamuwa Wewa; and Debarawewa Wewa. ''Malee'' ( si, මලී) is a 2011 Sri Lankan mystery thriller teledrama broadcast on TV Derana. The series is produced by Janaka Siriwardena and directed by Nimal Ratnayake. It initially aired from every Monday to Thursday from 7.30 pm to 8 pm onwards but later changed to air on every weekday at 9 pm to 9.30 pm. The series was followed by three more seasons - Aththamma (Malee 2), Sidu (Malee 3) and Shakthi (Sidu 2).
