Sam Yawayawa
Sam Yawayawa (born 2 July 1998 in Suva, Fiji) is a Fijian born Scottish rugby union player who plays for London Scottish. He was previously at Glasgow Warriors, Leicester Tigers, Boroughmuir and Glasgow Hawks. His usual position is at the Wing position. Rugby Union career Amateur career Yawayawa was educated at first in Germany and then in Scotland. He played for Boroughmuir. He was part of the Boroughmuir U16 side that won the National Bowl final in 2014. He entered the Scottish Rugby Academy at the Stage 3 professional phase of the academy in the 2017-18 season. Yawayawa played for Glasgow Hawks when not in use by Glasgow Warriors. He was signed by Cambridge at the start of season 2018-19. Professional career He played for Edinburgh at U16 grade. Boroughmuir RFC Players
Boroughmuir RFC is a rugby union football club in the Scottish Rugby Union. The club's home ground is Meggetland, in southwest Edinburgh and the club plays in the , where they are known as the Boroughmuir Bears. Founded in 1919 and admitted to the SRU in 1939, it was originally restricted to former pupils of Boroughmuir High School. The badge is derived from Boroughmuir High School and they acquired it in 1913. Although it has lost that direct connection, the home ground and navy blue/emerald colours are unchanged. The club won the Scottish unofficial club rugby championship in the 1954–55 and 1972–73 seasons. The club have the second longest number of seasons in the top division having only been relegated twice and on both occasions bouncing straight back up to the top division. The Scotland national under-18 rugby union team is the under-18 team of the Scotland national rugby union team in the sport of rugby union. History Under-18 became a recognised age-grade in European rugby in 2004. The RFU Championship is an English rugby union competition comprising twelve clubs. It is the second level of men’s English rugby and is played by both professional and semi-professional players. The Scottish Rugby Academy, for sponsorship reasons the Fosroc Scottish Rugby Academy, is a national academy structure designed to give Scotland's young rugby stars a pathway into the professional game. The academy structure is based on 4 regional academies geographically based on the traditional districts of Glasgow District. Edinburgh District, North and Midlands and South.
