Sam Walker (born 16 June 2002) is a professional rugby league footballer who plays as a & for the Sydney Roosters in the NRL. He has played for the Prime Minister's XIII at representative level. Background Walker was born in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, while his Australian father Ben, a professional rugby league player, was playing for the Leeds Rhinos in the Super League. Walker and his family moved back to Australia in 2003. Walker played his first junior rugby league for the Burleigh Bears before moving to Ipswich with his family, where he played for the North Ipswich Tigers and attended Ipswich Grammar School, where he was signed by the Brisbane Broncos. Samuel Walker (21 April 1912 – 20 January 1972) was an Irish rugby union prop. Walker played club rugby for Instonians and played international rugby for Ireland and was captain of the British Isles team in their 1938 tour of South Africa. Rugby career Walker came to note as a rugby player when he represented Instonians. During the 1934/35 season, he was also selected to play for invitational tourists, the Barbarians. He won his first international cap when he was selected for the Irish national team during the 1934 Home Nations Championship. he won 15 caps for his country between 1934 and 1938, and captained the team in his final international game, against Wales, at Swansea. In 1938 he was selected to captain the British Isles team on their tour of South Africa. Sam James Walker (born 1 March 1978) is an English professional golfer. Career Walker was born in Birmingham and turned professional in 2000. He came through the ranks, starting his career on the third tier MasterCard Tour before graduating to the Challenge Tour and finally the top level European Tour. He has struggled to establish himself at the highest level, only retaining his card once in 2007 when he finished 80th on the Order of Merit. Samuel Colin Walker (born 2 October 1991) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Bradford City. Walker progressed through the youth ranks at Millwall and Chelsea, although he failed to make an appearance for either club. He was loaned from Chelsea to Barnet, Northampton Town, Yeovil Town, Bristol Rovers and Colchester United on two occasions. He made his move to Colchester permanent in January 2014. He made over 200 appearances in total for Colchester. Samuel Jake Walker (born 7 May 1995) is a British table tennis player. He competed for England in the men's team event at the 2014 Commonwealth Games where he won a silver medal. In March 2016, Walker was part of the England team, alongside Liam Pitchford and Paul Drinkhall, which won bronze medals at the World Team Championships in Malaysia, England's first medal at that level since 1983 and the first time a newly promoted team had earned a podium place at the event. In June 2016, Walker was called up to the Team GB table tennis squad for the Rio Olympic Games. He featured in the team competition, sealing a 3–2 victory over France in the first round before GB were knocked out by China in the quarter-finals.
