Sam Tolhurst
Samantha Holden (previously Deeks and Tolhurst) is a fictional character from the Australian Channel Seven soap opera ''Home and Away'', played by Jessica Chapnik. She made her first on-screen appearance on 17 October 2006. Character development In 2006 Chapnik secured the role of Sam by chance. In 2008, it was announced that Chapnik was leaving ''Home and Away'' to pursue a career in the United States. Chapnik said Sam was an interesting character to play because she was "full of self-loathing and was so misunderstood". Sam was "doomed to fail from the beginning" and her "decline made sense" because she was always "quite tragic". Jessica Chapnik Kahn is an Argentine Australian singer-songwriter, actress and writer. Her solo music is released under the moniker Appleonia. She is also known for her role as Sam Tolhurst/Holden in the Australian television drama ''Home and Away'' (2006–08). Cornelia Frances Zulver, OAM (7 April 1941 – 28 May 2018), credited professionally as Cornelia Frances, was an English-Australian actress. After starting her career in small cameos in films in her native England, she became best known for her acting career in Australia after emigrating there in the 1960s, particularly her iconic television soap opera roles with portrayals of nasty characters. Mark Furze (born 7 May 1986) is an Australian actor and musician. Career Furze starred in several productions by the Orange, New South Wales, Orange Theatre Company, playing the lead role in a version of ''Oliver!'' aged 10. Eric "Ric" Dalby is a fictional character from the Australian Channel Seven soap opera ''Home and Away'', played by Mark Furze. He appeared in the series from 15 September 2004 until 24 July 2008.
