Sam Fisher (Australian Footballer)
Samuel Fisher (born 10 July 1982) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Early life Between the ages of 17 and 19, Fisher was a promising junior golfer and played off a handicap of 1. He won the Riverland Tyre and Mag Boxing Day Classic four times, twice with his father Terry and twice with his brother Ben. However, Fisher gave away a possible career in golf for AFL football. Fisher began playing Australian rules in South Australia with West Adelaide, where he was first identified by AFL scouts at the age of 21. Moorabbin Oval (also known as RSEA Park under a naming rights agreement) is an Australian rules football ground in the city of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia at Linton Street in the suburb of Moorabbin, Victoria, Moorabbin.
