Sam Darbyshire
Sam Darbyshire (born 26 March 1989) is an English television actor best known for his role as Jamie "Fletch" Fletcher on the Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks''. He has also appeared in several advertisements and had a small role in ''Coronation Street''. He was a member of a local youth theatre group in Wigan, Willpower Youth Theatre, near his childhood home in Standish, Greater Manchester. In his final year of secondary school, Darbyshire was involved in a production of the musical ''Grease (musical), Grease''. Darbyshire attended Winstanley College. Jamie "Fletch" Fletcher
Jamie "Fletch" Fletcher is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by Sam Darbyshire. The character debuted on-screen during episodes airing in October 2005. Fletch was created by executive producer David Hanson as a recurring character. In 2007 new executive producer Bryan Kirkwood promoted Darbyshire to the regular cast. Fletch made his final on-screen appearance on 21 August 2008. Fletch's main storyline was an addiction to the drug heroin. Standish, Greater Manchester
Standish is a small town in the Metropolitan Borough of Wigan, Greater Manchester, England. Within the boundaries of the historic county of Lancashire, it is on the A49 road between Chorley and Wigan, near Junction 27 of the M6 motorway.
