Sam Bourke
Sam Bourke (born 2003) is an Irish hurler. At club level he plays with Ballinamere and at inter-county level with the Offaly senior hurling team. He is a brother of Dan Bourke. Career Bourke first played hurling and Gaelic football to a high standard as a student at Coláiste Choilm in Tullamore. After progressing through the juvenile and underage ranks with the Ballinamere club, he made his senior team debut in 2021. Bourke has also lined out for DCU Dóchas Éireann in the Fitzgibbon Cup. Bourke first appeared on the inter-county scene during a two-year tenure with the Offaly minor hurling team, which culminated with a defeat by Kilkenny in the 2020 Leinster minor final. He immediately progressed to the under-20 team and was at centre-back when they lost the 2023 All-Ireland under-20 final to Cork. DCU GAA
Dublin City University Gaelic Athletic Association Club ( ga, Cumann Luth Chleas Gael Ollscoil Chathair Bhaile Átha Cliath) is the GAA club at Dublin City University. The club fields teams in men's Gaelic football, hurling, ladies' Gaelic football and camogie. It also organises Gaelic handball. The club mainly competes in intervarsity competitions such as the Sigerson Cup, the Fitzgibbon Cup, the O'Connor Cup and the Ashbourne Cup. DCU has also entered competitions organised by the Leinster GAA, including the O'Byrne Cup, the Kehoe Cup and Walsh Cup. In 2016 St. Patrick's College, Drumcondra merged with Dublin City University. All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship
The GAA Hurling Under-20 All-Ireland Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the Bord Gáis Energy GAA Hurling Under-20 All-Ireland Championship) is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in Ireland. The championship was contested as the All-Ireland Under-21 Championship between 1964 and 2018 before changing to an under-20 age category from 2019. The final, currently held on the fourth Sunday in August, serves as the culmination of a series of games played during the summer months, and the results determine which team receives the James Nowlan Cup. The Leinster GAA Hurling All-Ireland Under-20 Championship known simply as the Leinster Under-20 Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Leinster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). The Joe McDonagh Cup is an annual Inter county, inter-county hurling competition organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA).
