Salvinu Schembri
Salvinu Schembri (19 October 1923 – 15 December 2008) was a professional footballer who played as a inside forward for Sliema Wanderers, Valletta and Ħamrun Spartans. He also played in full international matches for the Malta national team. Club career Schembri joined Sliema Wanderers in 1943 where he spent two seasons. Schembri joined Valletta for the 1945–46 season. With Valletta he won the Maltese Premier League twice and between 1945 and 1948. In January 1947, in a tribute match between MFA XI and Yugoslav club Zaboversky played in his honour, Schembri sustained a serious injury. The injury kept him out of action for three months, after which he returned for an important league match against rivals Ħamrun Spartans on 11 May. He scored the decisive goal to win the match for Valletta. In 1953, Schembri returned to former club Sliema Wanderers. Msida
Msida ( mt, L-Imsida, it, Misida) is a harbour town in the Central Region of Malta with a population of 7, 623 (2021). Location The town is located just west of Valletta on the northeast coast of Malta. The neighbouring towns of Msida are Ta' Xbiex, Gżira, San Ġwann, Birkirkara, Santa Venera, Ħamrun and Pietà. Msida is an important town for all travellers as many of the country's bus routes pass through it. Etymology The name Msida is said to originate from an Arabic word meaning "a fisherman's dwelling". Mater Dei Hospital (MDH; mt, Sptar Mater Dei), also known simply as '' Mater Dei'', is an acute general and teaching hospital in Msida, Malta. It was opened in 2007, replacing St. Luke's Hospital. It is a public hospital affiliated to the University of Malta, offering hospital services and specialist services. André Schembri
André Schembri (born 27 May 1986) is a Maltese former professional footballer who played as a forward, and is currently a director of football of Apollon Limassol. Schembri started his professional career with local clubs Hibernians and Marsaxlokk, leading the latter to their first league title in the 2006–07 season. Between the summers of 2007 and 2009 he spent season-long loans with German lower-tier clubs Eintracht Braunschweig and Carl Zeiss Jena. After a blighted six months with Austria Kärnten, he joined Hungarian side Ferencváros where he established himself as first choice ending the season as the club's top scorer with 17 goals in all competitions. Eric Schembri
Eric Schembri (born 30 April 1955) was a professional footballer who played as a striker for Gżira United and Sliema Wanderers. He also played in full international matches for the Malta national team, including a UEFA Euro 1980 qualifying match against West Germany on 27 February 1980. Following his playing career, Schembri became a football manager, leading Mdina Knights during the 2006 season. As of 2010, he was serving as Technical Director for the Knights.
