Stefano Salvatori (29 December 1967 – 31 October 2017) was an Italian professional footballer. A tenacious, physically strong, and hard-working player, known for his energetic and tough-tackling style of play, he usually played as a central midfielder, but was also capable of playing as a defensive midfielder, as a full-back or centre-back. He played for several clubs in his homeland, including Parma, Fiorentina, Milan and Atalanta, and the Scottish club Heart of Midlothian. Michael Salvatori
Michael C. Salvatori (born 1954) is an American composer best known for his collaboration with colleague Martin O'Donnell for the soundtracks to the ''Halo'' video game series. Salvatori became acquainted with O'Donnell in college; when O'Donnell was given a job offer to score a colleague's film, Salvatori and O'Donnell formed a partnership and eventually created their own production company, TotalAudio. Salvatori continued to manage TotalAudio and worked on his own music for clients such as Disney and Wideload Games. Henry Salvatori (March 28, 1901 – July 6, 1997) was an American geophysicist, businessman, philanthropist, and political activist. Salvatori founded Western Geophysical in 1933 and, after selling the company in 1960, pursued a second career as a philanthropist and conservative political activist. He was a long-time financial supporter of the Heritage Foundation and the Claremont Institute, both conservative think tanks. Salvatori is an Italian design brand specialising in natural stone such as marble, limestone and sandstone. History Salvatori was founded in 1946 in Querceta, Tuscany, close to the Carrara marble quarries. In 1950 the founder Guido Salvatori invented the “split face” finish, whereby the stone is opened up to expose the textured surface within. In the early 2000s in addition to textures the company started to also produce bathroom items such as bathtubs and basins. More recently the company has introduced its Home Collection, which began with tables and later extended into areas such as lighting, storage solutions and accessories, in order to widen its appeal. In 2010 Salvatori invented Lithoverde, the world’s first material almost solely made from recycled natural stone. Craig Salvatori (born 22 January 1966) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s. He spent most of his career at the Sydney Roosters, Eastern Suburbs club. His position of choice was in the Rugby league positions#Prop forward, front row. Salvatori also played for the South Sydney Rabbitohs as well as representing Australian Kangaroos, Australia and New South Wales state rugby league team, New South Wales. Renato Salvatori (20 March 1933 – 27 March 1988) was an Italian actor. Born in Seravezza, Province of Lucca, Salvatori began his career in his teens playing juvenile, romantic roles. After working with directors such as Luchino Visconti, Roberto Rossellini and Vittorio De Sica, he developed into one of Italy's strongest characters actors. He met French actress Annie Girardot on the set of the film ''Rocco and His Brothers'' (1960) and married her on 6 January 1962. Maristela Salvatori (born 1960), is an artist and printmaker. She has a degree in Fine Art from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, Instituto de Artes, where she teaches on the undergraduate and Postgraduate Visual Arts Programme and coordinates research into 0 Fascínio do Traço (The charm of the Line). She works with issues related to printmaking and photography and is currently head of the Postgraduate Visual Arts Programme. She is a co-author of the book Mestiçagens na Arte Contemporânea (organized by Icleia Cattani, Porto Alegre: UFRGS, 2007). Domenico Salvatori
Domenico Salvatori (27 September 1855 – 11 December 1909) along with Alessandro Moreschi, Domenico Mustafà and Giovanni Cesari, was one of the famous Castrato, castrati singers of the late 19th century. Born in Anagni, he first started as a contralto at the Cappella Giulia which he later abandoned in order to enter as a now soprano or mezzo to the Sistine Chapel Choir. He later became secretary of the choir for some years, holding his position as a secretary also under the direction of Lorenzo Perosi. A good friend of Alessandro Moreschi, together they often used to visit their contemporary Domenico Mustafà in his retirement. Salvatori died in Rome. He is buried in the Monumental Cimitero di Campo Verano in Alessandro Moreschi's tomb.
