Salvatore Giunta (footballer)
Salvatore Giunta (born 13 April 1967) is an Italian football coach and former player, most recently in charge as manager of Serie B club Brescia. Playing career Giunta is a former central midfielder who played for, among others, AC Milan and Albacete Balompié, as well as the Italian under-21 side. Giunta also played for AS Cannes in French Ligue 2 during the 1998–99 season. Coaching career After retirement, Giunta started as coaching career working for the youth teams of Brescia, a former team of his as a player. During the 2008–09 season, he then served as head coach of Serie D amateurs Suzzara. He successively started a collaboration with Eugenio Corini, working as his assistant at Portosummaga, Crotone and Frosinone. In October 2013, Giunta took over from Alessio Tacchinardi as head coach of Lega Pro Seconda Divisione club Pergolettese, and was himself sacked in February 2014. Alessandro Calori (born 29 August 1966) is an Italian association football, football coach and former player, last in charge as head coach of Ternana Calcio, Ternana. Ivan Javorčić (born 24 January 1979) is a Croatian football manager and a former player, currently in charge as assistant coach of Italian Serie A club Lazio. Playing career Born in Split, Javorčić began playing football for the youth side of local club RNK Split. He first played for the senior team at age 15. Javorčić spent most of his career in Italy, where he moved in 1996 to sign a four-year contract with Serie B club Brescia. Lega Pro Seconda Divisione was the fourth highest football league in Italy, the lowest with a professional status. Usually it consisted of 36 teams, but in the 2011–12 season, there were 41 teams divided geographically into two divisions of 20 and 21. Alessio Tacchinardi (; born 23 July 1975) is an Italian football manager and former footballer who played as a defensive midfielder, last in charge as head coach of Lecco. He began his career with Atalanta. Frosinone Calcio () is an Italian football club based in Frosinone, Lazio. The club was founded on 5 March 1906 under the name Unione Sportiva Frusinate, but conventionally the year 1928 is indicated as the beginning of competitive activities of significant importance.
