Salvatore Bagni
Salvatore Bagni (; born 25 September 1956 in Correggio) is a former Italian footballer who mainly played as a central midfielder. He currently works as a sporting director. Bagni played for several Italian clubs throughout his career, in particular Inter, where he won a Coppa Italia title, and Napoli, where he won a ''Scudetto''-Coppa Italia double. At international level, he represented Italy on 41 occasions, and took part at the 1984 Summer Olympics and the 1986 FIFA World Cup. Club career Bagni is the son of a Romagnol footballer and a Sicilian mother from Gela. He began his career with Serie D club Carpi (1975–77), later playing with Serie A side Perugia (1977–1981) and putting on some encouraging performances, before moving to Italian giants Inter (1981–84), where he won the Coppa Italia in 1982, and was considered a potential heir to Gabriele Oriali in midfield. Correggio, Italy
Correggio ( Reggiano: ) is a town and ''comune'' in the Province of Reggio Emilia, in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, in the Po valley. As of 31 December 2016 Correggio had an estimated population of 25,694. Its patron saint is Quirinus of Sisak, to whom the Basilica of San Quirino is dedicated. UEFA European Under-21 Championship
The UEFA European Under-21 Championship, the UEFA Under-21 Championship or simply the Euro Under-21, is a biennial football competition contested by the European men's under-21 national teams of the UEFA member associations. Since 1992, the competition also serves as the UEFA qualification tournament for the Summer Olympics. Italy and Spain are the most successful teams in this competition, having won five titles each. Greece National Under-21 Football Team
The Greece national under-21 football team is the national under-21 football team of Greece and is controlled by the Hellenic Football Federation, the governing body for football in Greece. The team competes in the European Under-21 Football Championship, held every two years. The under-21 competition rules insist that players must be 21 or under at the start of a two-year competition, so technically it is up to an U-23 competition. To be eligible for the Greece National Team, all the football players must hold Hellenic (Greek) nationality and comply with the provisions of Article 15 of the regulations governing the Application of FIFA Statutes. The Italy national under-21 football team is the national under-21 football team of Italy and is controlled by the Italian Football Federation. The team competes in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship, held every two years. Italy (along with Spain) is the most successful nation in the history of the competition, with five Championships won (1992, 1994, 1996, 2000 and 2004). Italy has also been twice runner-up of the competition, in 1986 and 2013.
