Salt Cathedral (band)
Salt Cathedral is a band from Bogotá, Colombia, and currently based in Brooklyn, New York. The band consists of Juliana Ronderos and Nicolás Losada. They have self released three EPs'','' and released five singles with Ultra, with a debut full-length album "Carisma" released on 8 May 2020. Their focused multicultural approach to music has resulted in diverse collaborations with artists such as dancehall deejay Assassin, bounce pioneer Big Freedia, and former-Orthodox Jewish singer/rapper Matisyahu (his only collaboration with a female vocalist). Career Juliana Ronderos and Nicolas Losada both grew up in the same neighborhood in Bogotá, Colombia, but didn't meet until they were both attending Berklee School of Music in Boston, MA. Les Rencontres Trans Musicales (generally referred to as ''Les Transmusicales de Rennes'') is a music festival that lasts for 3 or 4 days. It is held annually in December. Firefly Music Festival is a music festival produced by AEG Presents that was first held on July 20–22, 2012, in Dover, Delaware. Firefly takes place in The Woodlands of Dover Motor Speedway, a festival ground, over the span of three days. Many nationally known musical acts have performed at the festival, with over 100 performances held over the course of the festival in 2016. The festival producers have been working together to establish the event at the current venue with the hopes of having "an open-air festival on the East Coast with plenty of outdoor camping". Coast Modern is an American indie pop duo based in Los Angeles, California. The duo consists of Luke Atlas and Coleman Trapp. History Early beginnings-2015 Luke Atlas is a Seattle, Washington native and Coleman Trapp is from Los Angeles. Trapp played the drums and piano growing up and sang for the first time at age 23, and Atlas played the guitar in the band Brite Futures, previously known as Natalie Portman's Shaved Head. The two met in Los Angeles shortly after Atlas moved there, and they began writing songs together. After two years of little success between the two, Trapp decided to return to his hometown of Denver. South by Southwest, abbreviated as SXSW and colloquially referred to as South By, is an annual conglomeration of parallel film, interactive media, and music festivals and Convention (meeting), conferences organized jointly that take place in mid-March in Austin, Texas, United States.
