Sally Barsosio (born 21 March 1978 in Keiyo District) is a Kenyan distance runner. , Barsosio is the youngest ever medallist at the World Junior Championships in Athletics, at 14 years and 182 days. Career In 1993, aged 15 years 153 days, she won the 10,000 metres bronze medal at the 1993 World Championships in Athletics after initially being disqualified for impeding fellow runners, most notably Elana Meyer who rather dramatically dropped out of the race. Athletics is a group of sporting events that involves competitive running, jumping, throwing, and walking. The most common types of athletics competitions are track and field, road running, cross country running, and racewalking.
