''Sallipir'' () is a 2016 Nepali novel by Nayan Raj Pandey. It was published on 30 April 2016 by FinePrint Publication. It is the author's seventh novel. The writer's previous works, '' Loo'' and '' Ular'' had been widely successful. Unlike, the author's previous works which were set in the southern plains of midwestern region, this book is set in the Khumbu region in the Himalayan. It took the author 28 months to complete the novel. The book was launched on April 30, 2016 jointly by the author and the poet Shyamal at the premises of Nepal Tourism Board. Nayan Raj Pandey ( ne, नयनराज पाण्डे) is a Nepali writer and screenwriter. He writes stories and novels, as well as screenplays for Nepali cinema. He is known for his representation of contemporary Nepalese society in his novels, presented in a figurative style. ''Loo'' () is a 2012 Nepali novel by Nayan Raj Pandey. It is the fifth novel of the writer and was published in 2012 by Sangri~La Publication. The book was critically acclaimed and became a bestseller. The book is set in a village near Indo-Nepalese border in western Nepal. The book includes the writer's own experience growing up in Nepalgunj. According to writer, the main character Elaiya is a combination of people, he knew growing up. ''Ular'' () is a Nepali novella by Nayan Raj Pandey. It was first published in ''Tanneri—''a bi–monthly magazine in 1996 (2053 BS) then as a book in 1998 (2055 BS) by ''Tanneri Prakshan''. The book was reprinted in 2012 by FinePrint Publication which has been printing the book ever since. Pandey completed writing the book in four days. The title of the book translates to imbalance in a horse-cart caused by more load at the back than at the front. The book has been immensely popular since its publication and has been reprinted multiple times.
