Salliann Briggs
Salliann Beams (; born 3 February 1984) is an English former cricketer who played over 100 times in limited overs cricket in England, primarily for Yorkshire. After retiring, she worked as part of the England women development programme, in connection with the under-19s, and also worked as the head coach at Loughborough University and Loughborough Lightning. In March 2018, Briggs was named as the head coach for the WBBL Hobart Hurricanes and the WNCL Tasmanian Tigers The Tasmanian cricket team, nicknamed the Tigers, represents the Australian state of Tasmania in cricket. Women's Big Bash League
The Women's Big Bash League (known as the WBBL and, for sponsorship reasons, the Weber WBBL) is the Australian women's domestic Twenty20 cricket competition. The WBBL replaced the Australian Women's Twenty20 Cup, which ran from the 2007–08 season through to 2014–15. Loughborough Lightning were an English women's Twenty20 cricket team based at Loughborough University. They were formed in 2016 to compete in the inaugural season of the Women's Cricket Super League. Fast bowling (also referred to as pace bowling) is one of two main approaches to bowling in the sport of cricket, the other being spin bowling.
