Salinas Records is a Detroit, Michigan-based punk rock record label established in 2003 by Marco Reosti. Reosti initially didn't have any intentions to start a label, only aiming to release a 7-inch for his own band. He put the name of author John Steinbeck's hometown on the back cover, inadvertently providing a company name for future releases. Bonny Doon (band)
Bonny Doon is an American indie rock band from Detroit, Michigan. The band consists of Jake Kmiecik (drums), Bill Lennox (guitar/vocals) and Bobby Colombo (guitar/vocals). History Bonny Doon began in 2014. In the following year, they released their first collection of songs, demos they had recorded that turned into a self-titled EP. Swearin'
Swearin' is a Philadelphia-based musical group made up of singer/guitarist Allison Crutchfield, singer/guitarist Kyle Gilbride, bassist Keith Spencer and drummer Jeff Bolt. They released two albums and an EP. The band split in 2015 and Crutchfield embarked on a solo career. In November 2017, Swearin' announced that they had reunited and would go on tour in support of Superchunk in 2018. History Born in 1989, Allison Crutchfield and her twin sister Katie Crutchfield formed their first musical group, the Ackleys, in their native Alabama in 2004. They recorded one self-titled album and an EP, ''Forget Forget, Derive Derive''. After three years, they formed the band P.S. Radiator Hospital
Radiator Hospital is an American indie rock band. Though songwriter Sam Cook-Parrott (vocals/guitar) is from Grand Rapids, Michigan, they are now based in Philadelphia. The rest of the current lineup is Cynthia Schemmer (guitar/vocals), Jon Rybicki (bass), and Jeff Bolt (drums). They have released six albums; two out of print lo-fi cassettes, and four LPs put out by Salinas Records. History After Sam Cook-Parrott's high school band ended, he started recording solo material with a four-track tape recorder. He named the project after an auto body shop in Grand Rapids. Radiator Hospital released their first full-length album in 2010 titled ''My Most Imaginary Friend''. Martha (band)
Martha are a rock band from Pity Me, a village in County Durham in the North East of England. After singles on their own Discount Horse label and Odd Box Records, their debut album ''Courting Strong'', was released on Fortuna Pop! and Salinas Records in 2014. As of 2022 they have released four full-length albums on cult UK and US based independent record labels. They have described themselves as queer, straight edge, vegan and anarchist. All Dogs is a pop punk quartet from Columbus, Ohio. Its members are singer/guitarist Maryn Jones, who has also played with Saintseneca, drummer Jesse Wither, who has also played with the punk band Delay, bassist Amanda Bartley of the band Swearin’, and guitarist Nick Harris, who also played in the Philadelphia based band Slaughter Beach, Dog.
