Ahmed Abdallah Abderemane ( ar, Ø£Øمد عبد الله عبد الرØمن, , 12 June 1919 – 26 November 1989) was a Comorian politician. He was a member of the French Senate from 1959 to 1973, and President of the Comoros from 25 October 1978 until his assassination in 1989. Life prior to the presidency Abdallah was born in Domoni, on the island of Anjouan. He began participating in the government in the 1940s, while the Comoros were still part of France. He was the President of the general council from 1949 until 1953, and was the chairman of the chamber of deputies during the 1970s. First presidency In 1972, Abdallah, now leader of his political party, the Comoros Democratic Union (UDC), became president of the government council and Chief Minister of the Comoros; he served in that position until 6 July 1975, when the islands became independent from France, (with the exception of Mayotte, which voted to remain part of France.) Abdallah Mohamed
Abdallah Mohamed (died 3 February 2000) was a Comorian politician. He served as prime minister of Comoros from January 7, 1976, until December 22, 1978. He was a nephew of Mohamed Ahmed. For most of that time he was serving under President Ali Soilih. After Soilih was overthrown and killed in a Coup d'état, Mohamed remained in his post for a few months under the new regime of Ahmed Abdallah. He was eventually dismissed, however. Ali Mroudjaé
Ali Mroudjae (2 August 1939 – 2 May 2019) was a prime minister and foreign minister of the Comoros. Mroudjae became foreign minister after the coup by Bob Denard brought Ahmed Abdallah to power in 1978. He continued in that position until 8 February 1982, when he became prime minister. He left the office of Prime Minister on 31 December 1984. He was part of the Comorian Union for Progress.
