Salem Amer Al-Badri (birth name Moses Chirchir; born 12 December 1985 in Kenya) is a retired middle-distance runner who competed internationally for Qatar mostly in the 800 metres event. He jointly holds the Asian record in the rarely contested 4 × 800 metres relay The 4 × 800 metres relay is an athletics track event in which teams consist of four runners who each complete 800 metres or 2 laps on a standard 400 metre track. An Athletics competition was contested at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar from December 7 to December 12. Twenty-three events were contested for the men while 22 were on the slate for the women.
