Salchow Trophy
The ISU Junior Grand Prix in Sweden (sometimes titled Salchow Trophy) is an international figure skating competition. Sanctioned by the International Skating Union, it is held in the autumn in some years as part of the JGP series. Medals may be awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. ISU Junior Grand Prix
The ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating (titled the ISU Junior Series in the 1997–98 season) is a series of international junior-level competitions organized by the International Skating Union. Medals are awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The series was inaugurated in 1997 to complement the senior-level ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Skaters earn qualifying points at each Junior Grand Prix event and the six highest-ranking qualifiers meet at the ISU Junior Grand Prix Final, which is held concurrently with the Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final. 2003–04 ISU Junior Grand Prix
The 2003–04 ISU Junior Grand Prix was the seventh season of the ISU Junior Grand Prix, a series of international junior level competitions organized by the International Skating Union. It was the junior-level complement to the Grand Prix of Figure Skating, which was for senior-level skaters. Skaters competed in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance. The top skaters from the series met at the Junior Grand Prix Final. Competitions The locations of the JGP events change yearly. With partner Laura Handy, he is the 2000 Karl Shafer Memorial champion and the 2001 Nebelhorn Trophy bronze medalist. Valdis Mintals (born 11 December 1979 in Tallinn) is an Estonian pair skater. With partner Ekaterina Nekrassova, he is a multiple Estonian national champion. They competed at the World, European, and World Junior Championships before ending their partnership in 1998. From 1998 through 2002, Mintals competed with Viktoria Shklover. They were the 1998–2002 Estonian national champions. They competed twice at the World Junior Championships, and three times at the World and European Championships. Viktória Pavuk
Viktória Pavuk (born 30 December 1985, in Budapest) is a Hungarian former competitive figure skater. She is a two-time International Cup of Nice champion and the 2011 Hungarian national champion. Pavuk's first coach was István Simon and she also spent summers training with Igor Tchiniaev. She was later coached by her sister. In December 2012, Pavuk announced her retirement from competitive skating. Lina Johansson (born 26 September 1988) is a Swedish former competitive figure skater. She is the 2003–04 JGP Final silver medalist, a two-time Nordic medalist, and the 2005 Swedish national champion. She reached the free skate at six ISU Championships – 2003 Junior Worlds in Ostrava, 2004 Junior Worlds in The Hague, 2005 Europeans in Turin, 2005 Worlds in Moscow, 2006 Europeans in Lyon, and 2007 Europeans in Warsaw. Miki Ando
is a retired Japanese figure skater. She is the 2007 and 2011 World champion, 2011 Four Continents champion, 2004 World Junior champion, and a three-time (2003, 2004 & 2010) Japanese national champion. Ando is the first female skater to complete a quadruple jump successfully in competition. She accomplished this at the 2002–03 Junior Grand Prix Final in The Hague, Netherlands. Personal life Ando was born on December 18, 1987 in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. Her father died in a traffic accident when she was eight years old. Mikkeline Kierkgaard (born 25 May 1984) is a Danish former competitive figure skater. Competing for Denmark in ladies' singles, she qualified to the free skate at five ISU Championships and finished in the top ten at the 2000 European Championships.
