Salbari
Salbari(Bodo: सालबारि) is one of the sub divisions of Baksa district in the state of Assam, India. History A hundred years ago, there was no village named Salbari, but the place was surrounded by various sal plantations, leading to economic and population growth. There were some old villages like Hudukhata, Samuagati, Kamlabari and Hasora. After some years, people moved to the Salbari sub-division and villages like Salbari, Madhapur, Udhiaguri Hadan, Tangabarigaon, Aaohata, Palchiguri, Pakriguri, Uhiaguri and Gwjwnphuri were created. There was also no marketplace near Salbari, so residents went to a one-day market around 8.5 kilometres away at Bahbari Bazaar, but sometimes people of Salbari had disputes with the larger groups or local people. Baksa District
Baksa district ( or ) is an administrative district in the Bodoland Territorial Region of Assam, one of the North-Eastern states of India. The administrative headquarters is at Mushalpur. Manas National Park is a part of this district. Bodoland
The Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), informally Bodoland, is an autonomous region and a proposed state in Assam, Northeast India. It is made up of five districts on the north bank of the Brahmaputra river below the foothills of Bhutan and Arunachal Pradesh. It is administered by an elected body known as the Bodoland Territorial Council which came into existence under the terms of a peace agreement signed in February 2003 and its autonomy was further extended by an agreement signed in January 2020.
