The GDC/BC Salazar Student Awards was established in 1985 by The Society of Graphic Designers of Canada/British Columbia Chapter in honour of Enrique Salazar. Background Enrique Salazar was a founding member of the BC chapter of the GDC in the 1970s and served as BC's National Representative. Society Of Graphic Designers Of Canada
The Society of Graphic Designers of Canada (GDC) is Canadaʼs national certification body for graphic and communication design and since 1956 has established standards for design professionals, educators, and leaders. Capilano University
Capilano University (CapU) is a teaching-focused public university based in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, located on the slopes of the North Shore Mountains, with programming that also serves the Sea-to-Sky Corridor and the Sunshine Coast. Donald Ray Williams (May 27, 1939 – September 8, 2017) was an American country music singer, songwriter, and 2010 inductee into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
