Salar Ayoubi
Salar Ayoubi is an Iranian oud player who has worked with many National and International bands across the world. Salar Ayoubi was born on 26 June 1978 in Kurdistan (Iran). He studied music with different music teachers since he was 9 years old. Salar Studied Music at the Tehran Music Conservatory. He was invited to perform in Australia in 1999 and conducted an Australian Tour with Rona Ensemble. Again in 2001 he was invited to perform at the National Folk Festival to perform variety of Persia and Kurdish Songs. the band also performed for 3 days the National Multicultural Festival. Salar Ayoubi shaped the Sarv Ensemble's Australia and the band did its first public performance in July 2013 at the Australian National University followed by a tour around Australia in August 2013 and February 2014. Keivan Saket ( fa, کیوان ساکت) (born 1961 in Mashhad) is an Iranian composer and university professor and Tar and Setar Player, and author of 12 books for Tar and Setar. Early life Keivan Saket was born in 1961 to a family in Mashhad. He began music and painting from childhood with the support of his parents. He was a pupil of painting masters such as Sadegh Pour in drawing, Master Pirasteh in coloration and Master Davvalo in watercolor. His first music lessons came from his uncle, Manochehr Zamanian, in Children and Teenagers’ Music Workshop founded in Mashhad by National Broadcasting Organization under the management of Morteza Delshab. After a short time Manochehr Zamanian left Mashhad in order to pursue his education. Kamancheh
The kamancheh (also kamānche or kamāncha) ( fa, کمانچه, az, kamança, hy, Քամանչա, ku, کەمانچە ,kemançe) is an Iranian bowed string instrument used in Persian, Azerbaijani, Armenian, Kurdish, Georgian, Turkmen, and Uzbek music with slight variations in the structure of the instrument. The kamancheh is related to the rebab which is the historical ancestor of the kamancheh and the bowed Byzantine lyra. The strings are played with a variable-tension bow. In 2017, the art of crafting and playing with Kamantcheh/Kamancha was included into the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Lists of Azerbaijan and Iran.
