Sajjad Nomani
Khalil-ur-Rahman Sajjad Nomani (or only Sajjad Nomani) (born 12 August 1955) is an Indian Islamic scholar, spokesperson of All India Muslim Personal Law Board, educator and author of many Islamic books. He is a scholar of Islam. With BAMCEF and Waman Meshram, Nomani initiated various activism initiatives, primarily for right of minorities of India. Early life Nomani was born in year 1955 in Lucknow, India. His father Manzur Nu'mani was also a prominent Islamic scholar, theologian, journalist, writer, and social activist. His grandfather Sufi Muhammad Husain, was a businessman and landlord. Nomani received his education in his hometown, graduating from Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama and Darul Uloom Deoband. Later he studied at the Islamic University of Madinah and completed a doctorate in Quranic Studies. BAMCEF
The All India Backward and Minority Communities Employees Federation, abbreviated as BAMCEF, is an organisation for employees of oppressed communities that was established in 1971 by Kanshi Ram, D. K. Khaparde, and Dinabhana. The term got its significance from the Constitution of India, which intersects the oppressed and exploited Indians into classes on the basis of their status: Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Minority Communities. BAMCEF started at a convention held in Delhi in 1978, with an official launch on 6 December 1978, the death anniversary of B. R. Ambedkar. The ideology of BAMCEF is to fight the rooted system of inequality that divides Indian society and to abolish the caste system. Zulfiqar Ahmad Naqshbandi
Zulfiqar Ahmad Naqshbandi ( ur, ) (born 1 April 1953) is a Pakistani Islamic scholar and a Sufi shaykh of the Naqshbandi order. His notable disciples include Syed Khalil-ur-Rahman Sajjad Nomani. He is the founder of Mahadul-Faqir Al-Islami, Jhang. Biography In 2011, Zulfiqar Ahmad Naqshbandi travelled to India and addressed in few organized programs at Eidgah Bilali Mansab tank and Chanchalguda Junior College in Hyderabad. He also spoke at programs in the Masjid Rasheed of Darul Uloom Deoband and at Darul Uloom Waqf, Deoband.
