The Church of Saint-Pierre (french: Église Saint-Pierre) is a Catholic Church, Roman Catholic Church (building), church located on the Place Saint-Pierre in the centre of Caen in Normandy, northern France. It is dedicated to Saint Peter. Known as ''Saint-Pierre of Darnetal'', ''Saint-Pierre-sous-Caen, Saint-Pierre-du-Châtel, Saint-Pierre-en-Rive'', this church, often mistakenly called by the tourists "the cathedral", as it was the largest religious building of Bourg-le-Roi; special care was therefore given to its development. The construction of the present building took place between the early 13th and the 16th centuries. It was in this church that during the Middle Ages the main public ceremonies took place. For example, when Henri IV abjured the Protestant religion, putting an end to religious wars, it was in St Peter's Church that the ''Te Deum'' was sung in the presence of the civil and religious representatives of the whole city. Ville Saint-Pierre
Ville Saint-Pierre is a small neighbourhood of the city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, located in the Borough of Lachine. It was a separate town until it merged with Lachine in 1999. In 2002, the amalgamated city of Lachine merged into Montreal. The borders of the neighbourhood are the Lachine Canal/ Borough of LaSalle to the south and east, the Town of Montreal West to the north and the rest of Lachine to the west. The entire neighbourhood has the H8R postal code. The town had an area of , and a population of 4,739 in the last census (1996) prior to amalgamation. Mont-Saint-Pierre is a village municipality in Quebec, Canada, located in the regional county municipality of La Haute-Gaspésie in the administrative region of Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine. The village is located at the foot of the eponymous Mount Saint-Pierre. This high mount juts into the Gulf of Saint Lawrence, separating Cove Mont-Louis from Cove Mont-Saint-Pierre, into which the Mont-Saint-Pierre River flows. The place was formerly called Rivière-à-Pierre. The 2021 census there were 186 inhabitants. Mont-Saint-Pierre is well known for hang-gliding and paragliding, and home to the Mont-Saint-Pierre Ecological Reserve.
