Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola, Quebec
Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola is a municipality in the Lanaudière region of Quebec, Canada, part of the D'Autray Regional County Municipality. Its territory is located on 33 of the Sorel Islands in the Saint Lawrence River where it flows into Lac Saint-Pierre, the largest of which are ''île Madame'', ''île aux Ours'', and ''La Grande Île''. History In 1895, the Parish of Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola was formed, and named in honour of the founder of the Jesuits, Ignatius López de Loyola (1491-1556). In 1896, its post office opened and a year later, the parish municipality was established by separating from La Visitation-de-l'Île-Dupas. On October 31, 2012, it changed status from a parish municipality to municipality. Saint Lawrence River
The St. Lawrence River (french: Fleuve Saint-Laurent, ) is a large river in the middle latitudes of North America. Joliette, Quebec
Joliette is a city in southwest Quebec, Canada. It is approximately northeast of Montreal, on the L'Assomption River and is the seat of the Regional County Municipality of Joliette. It is considered to be a part of the North Shore of Greater Montreal. The city is home to the Joliette Art Museum, whose works of art include paintings, sculptures, paper artwork and a large collection of art from the French Middle Ages. Joliette has 3 Francophone high schools and 1 Anglophone high school, as well as the Joliette campus of the Cégep régional de Lanaudière. The Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board (SWLSB, french: Commission scolaire Sir-Wilfrid-Laurier, CSSWL) is a school board headquartered in Rosemère, Quebec in Greater Montreal. It officially came into existence in July 1998 when English-language schools from eight former school boards were amalgamated. ''L'Action Tunisienne'' (sometimes abbreviated to L'Action) is a former Tunisian Francophone newspaper founded by Habib Bourguiba and published from November 1, 1932 to March 19, 1988. Working for the Destour party, at first, it later became part of the Neo-Destour then the Socialist Destourian Party, since its foundation on March 2, 1934, in Ksar Hellal.
