The Saint-Georges International Music Festival (French: Festival International de Musique Saint-Georges) is a prominent music festival held in Guadeloupe, celebrating the life and works of Chevalier de Saint-Georges, Joseph Bologne, Le Chevalier de Saint-Georges. It had its inaugural launch in 2011 and has since become one of the largest List of classical music festivals, classical music festivals in the Caribbean. Baillif is a commune of Guadeloupe, an overseas region and department of France located in the Lesser Antilles. Baillif is a suburb of Basse-Terre, the prefecture and second-largest urban area of Guadeloupe located on Basse-Terre Island (the western-half of Guadeloupe). Dominique Le Gendre (born 16 September 1960 in Trinidad and Tobago) is a music composer based in London. Le Gendre is a former associate of the Royal Opera House and received an opera commission.
