Weymouth And Portland National Sailing Academy
The Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy is a centre for the sport of sailing on the Isle of Portland, Dorset, on the south coast of England. The academy building is located in Osprey Quay on the northern tip of the island, and the waters of Portland Harbour and Weymouth Bay, adjacent to the site, are the main areas used for sailing. Annie Lush (born 11 April 1980) is an English sailor. She was born in Poole, Dorset. , Lush is tall and weighs . Lush attended Cambridge University, where she was awarded Blues in rowing, sailing and rugby. Lush was a candidate for selection for the 2008 Summer Olympics in the Yngling three-person keelboat class with crewmates Lucy MacGregor and double Olympic gold medallist Shirley Robertson. Anna Tunnicliffe Tobias (born October 17, 1982) is an American sailor and CrossFit competitor. In 2008 she won an Olympic gold medal in the Laser Radial single handed sailing class. In 2009 and 2011, she won the ISAF Sailing World Cup in Laser Radial. She also won the women's world championship of the snipe class in 2010, and placed second in 2008.
