Saiki Stadium
} is an athletic stadium located in the city of Saiki, Ōita Prefecture, Japan. From June 1, 2019, due to naming rights, the nickname "Saeki Central Hospital Athletics Stadium" has been used. It is also used as a baseball stadium. The facility is owned by Saiki City and operated and managed by Saiki Environmental Center Ltd. It was one of the home stadium of football club Oita Trinita from 1999 to 2000. Currently, Verspah Oita (JFL) hosts some home games.In 2001, the stadium was used as a training camp for the Tunisian national soccer team at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. The stadium has a capacity for 5,000 people (seating only in the main stand, other seats on the lawn). Saiki, Ōita
is a city located in Ōita Prefecture, Japan. The city was founded on April 29, 1941. On March 3, 2005, Saiki merged with the towns of Kamae, Kamiura, Tsurumi, Ume and Yayoi, and the villages Honjō, Naokawa and Yonōzu (all from Minamiamabe District) to create the new and expanded Saiki City. Minamiamabe District was dissolved as a result of this merger. As of March 2017, the new city has an estimated population of 73,546 (former city, 2003: 49,183) and a population density of 81 persons per km2. The total area is 903.44 km2, making it the largest city by area in Kyushu. Verspah Oita
is a Japanese football club currently competing in the Japan Football League. The year 2012 is their first year in the JFL after they were promoted from the 2011 Kyushu Soccer League. History The club was formed in 2003 as Hoyo FC. In 2005 they changed their name to Hoyo Atletico Elan, the name in which they competed for many years in the Kyushu Football League. The club is backed by the ''Hoyo Group'', a digital camera and auto parts manufacturer based in nearby Kunisaki. In 2010 they changed their name to Hoyo Atletico Elan Oita. In 2011, they changed their name to Hoyo AC Elan Oita, they won the Kyushu Championship and then earned third place in the Regional League promotion series, and qualified to compete in the JFL beginning in 2012. is a railway station on the Nippō Main Line operated by JR Kyushu in Saiki, Ōita, Japan. Lines The station is served by the Nippō Main Line and is located 197.8 km from the starting point of the line at .
