Sahan Jayawardene
Sahan Jayawardene (full name Mathsahan Liyanajayawardene; born 25 July 1990) is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and left-arm medium-fast bowler who plays for Sri Lanka Air Force Sports Club. He was born in Mahamodara. Jayawardene, who made his cricketing debut for the Under-23s team in 2009, in both the two-day and one-day form of the game, made his List A debut for the side during the 2009-10 Premier Limited Overs Tournament season, against Panadura Sports Club Panadura Sports Club is a first-class cricket team based in Panadura, Sri Lanka. Cricket
Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out").
