Sagoshi Station
is a railway station in the city of Sakata, Yamagata, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East). Lines Sagoshi Station is served by the Uetsu Main Line and is located 160.4 rail kilometers from the starting point of that line at Niitsu Station. Trains of the Rikuu West Line also continue past the nominal terminus of that line at Amarume Station towards , stopping at this station en route. Rikuu West Line
The is a railway line in Yamagata Prefecture, Japan, operated by the East Japan Railway Company (JR East). It connects Shinjō Station to Amarume Station, and trains continue on to Sakata Station, even though it is not officially a part of the Rikuu West Line. is a city located in Yamagata Prefecture, Japan. , the city had an estimated population of 106,244 in 39,320 households, and a population density of 180 people per km2. The total area of the city is . History The area of present-day Sakata was the location of the provincial capital of ancient Dewa Province, although the precise location has yet to be discovered by archaeologists. is a railway station in Akiha-ku, Niigata, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East). Lines Niitsu Station is served by the following three lines. is a junction railway station in the town of Shōnai, Yamagata, Japan, operated by the East Japan Railway Company (JR East). Lines Amarume Station is served by the Rikuu West Line and the Uetsu Main Line. A side platform (also known as a marginal platform or a single-face platform) is a platform positioned to the side of one or more railway tracks or guideways at a railway station, tram stop, or transitway. A station having dual side platforms, one for each direction of travel, is the basic design used for double-track railway lines (as opposed to, for instance, the island platform where a single platform lies between the tracks).
