Sage Kimzey
Sage Steele Kimzey (born August 26, 1994) is an American professional rodeo cowboy who specializes in bull riding. He competes on the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and Professional Bull Riders (PBR) circuits, and has won seven PRCA bull riding world championships. He was also a three-time world champion in the now-defunct Championship Bull Riding (CBR) organization. As of 2023, he rides for the Carolina Cowboys during the PBR Team Series season. Early life Sage Steele Kimzey was born on August 26, 1994, in Strong City, Oklahoma. His father, Ted, was a PRCA barrelman who also worked at the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) in 1980 and 1987. His mother, Jennifer, is the CEO of Gold Buckle Realty. His older sister, Dusta, is a pharmacist, and his younger brother Trey followed in his footsteps by becoming a bull rider as well. Strong City, Oklahoma
Strong City is a town in Roger Mills County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 47 at the 2010 census. History The town of Strong City was formally established June 25, 1912. It was named for Clint Strong, a railroad official and entrepreneur instrumental in the town's organization. While Cheyenne, Oklahoma was originally designated as the county seat for Roger Mills County, construction of the nearest railroad into the area, the Clinton and Oklahoma Western Railway (“C&OW”) terminated in August 1912 at Strong City. More troubling to the people of Cheyenne was the fact that Strong City had been laid out with a rocky knoll in the center, reserved for the County Courthouse should Strong City become the county seat instead of Cheyenne. Burlington, Colorado
Burlington is a home rule municipality and the county seat and most populous community of Kit Carson County, Colorado, United States. The city population was 3,172 at the 2020 United States Census. History Burlington was originally laid out one mile west of its present location in 1887 by a man named Lowell in anticipation of the arrival of the railroad. Woodward is a city in and the county seat of Woodward County, Oklahoma, United States. It is the largest city in a nine-county area. The population was 11,975 at the United States Census. The area was historically occupied by the Kiowa, Comanche, Cheyenne and Arapaho tribes. San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo
The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo is a livestock show and rodeo held in San Antonio, Texas annually during the month of February. It is part of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) schedule. For 14 consecutive years it was awarded the PRCA Large Indoor Rodeo of the Year. Along with the rodeo, the event also includes live entertainment from major recording artists, family-friendly exhibits, a carnival, and shopping. Bowie, Texas
Bowie ( ) is a town in Montague County, Texas, United States. The population was 5,218 at the 2010 census. History On July 22, 1881, Bowie was incorporated as a town in Montague County, Texas. (There is also a Bowie County, which includes Texarkana in northeastern Texas.) The town began to expand with the arrival of the Fort Worth and Denver Railway in 1882. In 1884, four men robbed the First National Bank of Bowie and allegedly left with over $10,000 in gold coins.
