Sage Dixon is a Republican Idaho State Representative since 2014 representing District 1 in the B seat. Education and career Dixon attended San Jose State University majoring in finance. He failed out of school. He was an owner of an electrical contracting business, and worked as a superintendent for an electrical contracting firm in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Sage Clifton Read Canaday (born November 14, 1985) is an American long-distance runner and ultramarathoner. Running career High school and collegiate Canaday attended Newberg High School in Newberg, Oregon, where he ran track and cross country. He then went on to run for Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and at 21 was the youngest qualifier and runner at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials marathon, held in New York City on the same weekend as the 2007 New York City Marathon, and went on to win the Ivy League 10,000 meter championship in 2008. Thomas Henry Sage
Thomas Henry Sage VC (8 December 1882 – 20 July 1945) was an English recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. Sage was born in Tiverton in Devon and returned there after his military service. He was 34 years old, and a private in the 8th Battalion, The Somerset Light Infantry (Prince Albert's), British Army during the First World War when the following deed took place for which he was awarded the VC. On 4 October 1917 at Tower Hamlets Spur, east of Ypres, Belgium, Private Sage was in a shell-hole with eight other men, one of whom was shot while throwing a bomb which fell back into the shell-hole. Private Sage, with great presence of mind, immediately threw himself on it, and so saved the lives of several of his comrades, although he himself was severely wounded. Russell Risley Sage (August 4, 1816 – July 22, 1906) was an American financier, railroad executive and Whig politician from New York. As a frequent partner of Jay Gould in various transactions, he amassed a fortune. Olivia Slocum Sage, his second wife, inherited his fortune, which was unrestricted for her use. In his name she used the money for philanthropic purposes, endowing a number of buildings and institutions to benefit women's education: she established the Russell Sage Foundation in 1907 and founded the Russell Sage College for women in 1916. Rosemary Sage is a British professor of education with a focus on communication and special educational needs. She leads the programme for the practitioner doctorate (Ed.D.) at the University of Buckingham. Since 2008, Sage has taught at the College of Teachers (now The Chartered College of Teaching) and was dean of academic affairs until 2014. She worked at Liverpool Hope University in 2007, where she taught communication in education, and at the University of Leicester, where she was a senior lecturer.
